How to transfer FRM from UniFyre to Metamask?

If you still have tokens in UniFyre, you can use this one-time method to move the tokens into MetaMask.

To transfer your tokens from UniFyre to MetaMask, you must use the following One-Time Use only method.

Remember you must discard your old wallet after completing the instructions below.

Export Unifyre to MetaMask

This is a one-time process, and you should no longer use UniFyre after completing these steps. i.e., transfer your tokens to a different wallet once you have moved your tokens out of it.

You need to complete these steps from a desktop PC or Mac

1. Generating a private key

  1. Go to the following URL and enter your 24 seeds words of your Unifyre wallet (lowercase separated with one space)
    URL: https://export-to-metamask.unifyre.io/
    ​Read the precautions carefully

  2. When you enter your seed phrase the web application will create a private key for you. Copy this key and save it somewhere. You will need to use it later on.

2. Importing into MetaMask

Choose one of the options below and follow the instructions to migrate UniFyre to MetaMask

Already Have MetaMask Installed

If you already have the MetaMask extension on your browser, then follow these steps otherwise, proceed to point “2.2. Don’t Have MetaMask Installed” below

  1. Click the account icon in MetaMask on the top right then click “Import Account”

  2. Enter the private key you’ve created above, then click Import

  3. That’s it. You can now proceed to bridge, stake, or HODL your FRM, but make sure you move tokens out of this imported wallet.

  4. IMPORTANT: Make sure you move these tokens to a different MetaMask wallet. Do not use this UniFyre imported MetaMask wallet anymore.

Don’t Have MetaMask Installed

  1. Install MetaMask in your browser (Chrome, Brave etc)

  2. Once you have installed the MetaMask extension on your browser it will take you to an onboarding page, here you should choose the “Import Wallet” option
    ​

  3. Enter the 24 word seed phrase from the Unifyre wallet (lowercase separated with one space) and choose a strong password

  4. That’s it. You can now proceed to bridge, stake, or HODL your FRM, but make sure you move tokens out of this imported wallet.

  5. IMPORTANT: Make sure you move these tokens to a different MetaMask wallet. Do not use this UniFyre imported MetaMask wallet anymore.

Bridge, Stake, HODL

Now you should have your tokens in the UniFyre imported wallet in MetaMask.

Remember to move these tokens into an entirely different wallet as the imported UniFyre wallet is no longer secure after the import tool was used.
